The Control Panel

The Control Panel is where you interact with the Holdem Poker game. There are three types of buttons appearing on the control panel: Utility, State, and Play.

Utility buttons are coloured dark green and allow you to manage your settings, learn more about the software, pull up the lobby, view your Stats and Hand History, or, if applicable, bring more chips to the table. Hover your mouse cursor over them while playing for more information.

State buttons are dark green and allow players to Sit Out the next hand, Leave the Table, and Automatically Post Blinds or Automatically Muck. When the state button is activated, it is circled in yellow.

Play buttons appear in the left of the control panel only when your seat position is involved in a hand of Holdem Poker play.

Play buttons come in three varieties: Pre-Deal, Pre-Action and Action. With Play buttons, you have a limited amount of time to select which button to engage, to ensure that our Holdem Poker games move quickly for players.

Pre-Deal buttons are tan-coloured and appear before the deal of a new Holdem Poker hand if you are obligated to post a blind. (Note: In order to participate in the next hand, you must post your Blind.) The Pre-Deal buttons are Post Blind, Don't Post Blind and Wait for Big Blind. The Post Blind button shows the amount you must post as a blind bet. If you set the State of the Auto Post Blind button to selected, you won't see these Pre-Deal buttons since your blinds will be automatically posted for you.

Pre-Action buttons are dark red. When a player selects a pre-action button, the button is circled in yellow. Only one Pre-Action button can be selected at a time, but you may leave them all untouched. The Pre-Action buttons appear before it is your turn in case you already know what you will do when your turn comes. This speeds up the Holdem Poker game and gives your opponents less time to think about their next move.

Action buttons are coloured bright green and appear when it is your turn to take action in any round of betting. The Call and Raise buttons show the amount required to take those actions. Bet buttons usually show the minimum bet; however, depending on the Table Limits, not every Action button will appear during your turn. Everest Poker will only give you the option to Bet, Call, and Raise based on the limits of the table.
